Instead of playing WoW, for once i fired up VSCodium and worked a bit on coruscant. Codex and I updated samba to use the zfs volumes, set up proper memory sleep, wake on lan, networkd as network maanger, and I finally got O2 to fix the IPv6 on the home connection so I can set up AAAA records.
Found out that windows refuses to use proper EU-64 SLAAC addresses unless you run Set-NetIPv6Protocol -RandomizeIdentifiers Disabled

I also bought a new microwave with an air fryer function, its on the way.

Work

At work, we finally have the office network running dual stack. been having a lot of fun working out IPv6. Though it seems like some devices do not like falling back to IPv4 if their target doesn't support v6, and would rather fail. This tripped me up a few times but once i realised what was happening its easy to check.
Also had to fix the Wifi channels. I enabled DFS and bumped the busy APs to 80Ghz. Let's see how much it helps. I think I need to start working in the MM office to experience their internet, and take a peek over shoulders to see how their work is going
The endless issues with USB-C to everything adapters in the meeting rooms is hopefully finally over, as I have ordered the barco clickshare wireless transmitters.

Hello World

So I finally got around to making myself a website. This is being served by Ghost CMS running on an Ubuntu VPS hosted by Hetzner. Eventually I want to move it all to a self-hosted server running in my home but for now we don't have space. As
